Privacy Policy

Overview

You can use everything on this site without an account or any personal information. By default, all of your game data stays on your device. If you create an optional account to back up your games, the data described below is stored in the cloud so you can access it from other devices.

Data Stored on Your Device

Game data you enter - player names, scores, round and game history, and statistics - is stored locally in your browser's local storage. Unless you sign in to a cloud sync account, this data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

Optional Accounts & Cloud Sync

Creating an account is optional and free. If you sign up, the following is collected and stored:

• Email address and password - used to sign you in. Authentication is handled by Supabase; your password is never stored in plain text.
• Display name - the name you choose, shown on your account screen.
• Synced game data - your game history and statistics (including the player names you enter) are stored in our database so they can be restored on any device you sign in from.

This data is used only to provide the sync feature. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or send marketing emails.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, time spent on the site, and general device/browser information. This data is used solely to improve the app experience.

Google Analytics may use cookies to track sessions. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cookies

Flip 7 Score Tracker itself does not set tracking cookies. If you sign in, an authentication token is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. Google Analytics may set cookies for analytics purposes as described above.

Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics - anonymized usage analytics.
• Supabase - authentication and database hosting for the optional accounts and cloud sync feature.

We do not share your data with any other third parties. There are no ads, tracking pixels, or social media trackers on this site.

Data Storage & Deletion

You stay in control of your data:

• Local data: use the "Clear History" button in the app's History tab, or clear your browser's local storage / site data for this site.
• Cloud data: open the Account tab and use "Delete Cloud Data" to permanently remove all game data stored on our servers. This cannot be undone.
• Account: deleting your cloud data removes every game and statistic we hold for you; only your sign-in email remains with the authentication provider until the account itself is deleted.

Children's Privacy

The score tracker does not require any personal information to use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, and accounts should only be created by users aged 13 or older.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time - for example, when features like cloud sync are added. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.

Flip 7 Score Tracker is a small, independently run project (see the About page). The fastest way to manage your data is directly in the app: "Clear History" in the History tab for local data, and "Delete Cloud Data" in the Account tab for synced data.
